Tarangire National Park
Known as the “Baobab Capital of the World,” Tarangire National Park is a hidden gem, often overshadowed by its more famous neighbors. However, it offers some of the best game viewing in Tanzania, particularly during the dry season when large herds of elephants gather along the Tarangire River. The park is also home to an impressive variety of bird species, making it a paradise for bird watchers. The landscape is characterized by rolling savannahs, ancient baobab trees, and dramatic riverine valleys.
